Arrests in Kuwait Target Transgender People

Authorities should immediately release more than a dozen persons jailed under Kuwait’s new dress-code law, Human Rights Watch said last week.
The law, approved by the National Assembly on December 10, 2007, criminalizes people who “imitate the appearance of the opposite sex.”
“The wave of arrests in the past month shows exactly why Kuwait should repeal this repressive law,” said Joe Stork, deputy director of the Middle East division at Human Rights Watch. READ MORE HERE or اقرأ هنا
قريت الخبر كله ... هذي بعد غير شغلة ، هذا اللي نبيه حنا و حتى بهذ يتدخلون! ، و المشكلة ان في اتفاقيات موقعة عليها الكويت بخصوص ضمان حقوق الإنسان المدنية و تكفله حرية التعبير و .....الخ ، يا معود ما صدقنة يحطون لهم حل و يفكونا من سوالفهم و حركاتهم ، مشتكين يقولون مقرعينهم :) كنوع من العقاب .. عساهم على هالحال و اردى لين يتوبون
فئة من الناس تقول هذيلا مرضى يحتاجون لعلاج نفسي ... احنا بدورنا نشد على يد السلطات المحلية و نقولهم قواكم الله و عليهم عليهم
